Our commitment
La Skin is committed to providing equal service to the whole public, including people with disabilities. This site was built as an accessible site from the outset, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, Israeli Standard IS 5568 and the WCAG 2.2 guidelines at Level AA. Accessibility is implemented in the site's code and does not rely on an external accessibility widget.
What was implemented
Full keyboard navigation in a logical order with no keyboard traps; a prominent focus indicator; a skip-to-content link; a correct heading structure and landmarks; accessible names for every button, field and link; alternative text for every image, including transcripts of the screenshots; Level AA colour contrast; support for 200% text enlargement and narrow viewports without horizontal scrolling; touch targets of at least 44 pixels; respect for the reduced-motion preference; a form with labels, instructions and accessible error messages; a menu and FAQ with correct ARIA states; correct RTL/LTR directionality in Hebrew, Arabic and English.
How it was tested
The site was tested with automated checks (axe-core) on every page in all three languages, with manual keyboard navigation checks, 200% zoom and viewports from 360 to 1440 pixels wide, and by inspecting the accessibility tree (the names and roles a screen reader receives). We recommend using current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Known limitations
The WhatsApp message screenshots are images of text; each has a full text alternative, but the text inside the image itself cannot be enlarged. If you encounter any other difficulty, we would like to know and fix it.
